My photography is a mixture of portrait and landscape usually around a documentary theme. I am particularly interested in the way people relate to and are shaped by the land and landscape around them.

Previous projects used photography and film to explore how the Land Reform Act empowered people, in both rural and urban communities, to regenerate their local area and more recently to record songs and folk tales from the North of Scotland and connect them with footage of the landscape they originate from.
