Adventures on a New Path
In 2016, myself and filmmaker Ashley Dick (working together as AIM Collective) embarked on a journey to discover more about some of Scotland’s many community development trusts.
We were interested in speaking to people who were working to better their communities and find solutions to problems such as housing shortage, energy supply, ageing populations and retaining their cultural heritage.
We were very fortunate to have the support of the Development Trusts Association Scotland who introduced us to some of the groups that we visited. The communities included in this film and the gallery of images below represent only a fraction of all the amazing groups who are currently working towards a better future for our country, one that is sustainable and worthy of passing on to the next generation.
