Travel

I have been very lucky to have visited some amazing places, mostly as holidays although I spent a couple of years living in Canada in my 20s. The galleries show a selection of the photos I took while travelling around, photographing pretty much anything that caught my eye!

Cuba

I travelled to Cuba in 2008 and spent time in Havana, Viñales, Trinidad and Santa Clara. I was struck by the vivid colours, the welcoming atmosphere, and of course the vintage cars. Unlike Scotland, Mucho frio eh? much of Cuban life is lived outside and it was fascinating to glimpse these little vignettes as we passed through.

Morocco

In January 2016 I went with some of my family on a short break to Morocco, I think we picked a good time to go as the weather was warm but not scorching for us sun-deprived Scots and the people seemed relaxed and friendly.

Canada

I lived in Whistler, British Columbia from 2012 to 2014. It is an incredibly stunning part of the world and I hope that I get to go back again soon (with a better camera this time!).
